KIDS ROTARY FUN RUN with THOMAS
on the Bellarine Rail Trail
Where: Drysdale Railway Station
When: Sunday 11 March
Time: starting at 9.30am, until approximately 2pm.
Registration limit: a strict limit of 700 runners across all aged-based runs
BENEFICIARY: The Geelong-based KIDS PLUS FOUNDATION
REGISTRATION: Each child must be registered to run
1. Early bird (before 5pm, 4 March): $10 per child
2. After 4 March:
· $15 per child
· $13 for 2 children
· $11 for 3 or more children in one family

ABOUT THE EVENT
This popular event is for children aged 0–12 years, where they run (not race) against Thomas the Tank Engine, beside a section of the Bellarine Railway, at Drysdale Railway Station.
The members of the Rotary Club of Highton Kardinia organise the event, in conjunction with the Bellarine Railway, supported by local sponsors and volunteers.
The first of the eight aged-based runs commences at 10.00 am and the final at 1.45 pm.
Apart from the runs, the whole family can enjoy rides on the Troublesome Trucks behind a Friend of Thomas, Face Painting, the Baby Animal Farm, Rides, Painting & Wand Decorating and Live Entertainment. There’s also a variety of food available along with some displays by local organisations.

Kids Plus Foundation is a registered children's charity that provides intensive therapy to special needs babies and children across the Barwon region free of charge to families.
The children they help have neuro physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, stroke or brain injury. |
